I coach a few agents who are currently farming geographical areas with mailers. One came to me with a little bit of success, while another agent has been farming for two years and only received two leads from their direct mail efforts. We reviewed his mailer, made some revisions, and in the past two months, he has received 13 leads from that.
It’s very important that you have the correct information written accurately in all of your advertising materials. Well-written messages compel someone to take action. I’ve been using mailers for 25 to 30 years now, and my mailings generate about 150 listing leads per month. Having them written the way they should be written makes all the difference.
